I think it would provide a new, different cultural atmosphere (At least in video games, because Texas is really underrepresented in my opinion) that creates new opportunities for fun while still leaving the original elements that we all love intact. For example, missions will include the standard bank robbery, arson, car theft, gang warfare, etc, but then you can turn right around and perform some old-fashioned cattle rustling (We raise cattle on pretty much any land that isn't developed or farmed), train robbery, fighting an angry Texas secessionist movement, overt warfare with the Mexican Cartels, robbing oil shieks, and other stuff. It still has all the amenities of a metropolis (And all the gameplay fun they bring), while also having unique a cultural environment that will lend itself to new adventures. It's hugely diverse, and like the rest of Texas with a unique culture all its own. It's also very near the country, where you can take ATV antics and off-roading like you do in V.Īlso, there's another reason I want Houston: It's different. Like all large cities, it has a large criminal underworld and large low-income areas and large high-income areas. It has a large industrial sector for industrial shenanigans, and a ritzy business district with a lot of big money and high-value businesses. I mean, it's a really massive city that's on the water (sort of).
